Primary fixings should be in profile valleys where possible. Fix roofing sheets nail or drill each sheet into the purlins or decking beneath at every point at which the sheet overlaps and at the top and bottom of the slopes. Laying the sheets commence fixing sheets at the lower edge of the roof at the opposite end to the prevailing winds. The washer under the screw head should seal to the surface of the panel without bulging or shifting.

2 lay 6 inch wide butyl tape over all horizontally lapping end seams. Sweep the metal roofing sheets of all dirt and debris with a push broom. A corrugated metal roof is quieter than pvc when it rains. Secure the screws but do not overtighten.
