The bottom end of the sheets you can fix in each trough to help prevent wind uplift of the sheets.
Fix roofing sheets nail or drill each sheet into the purlins or decking beneath at every point at which the sheet overlaps and at the top and bottom of the slopes.
The lower end of the sheet can be fixed through every trough to ensure the wind does not uplift the steel sheeting.
Box profile sheet fixings trapezoidal or box profiled sheets should be fixed through every valley pan lowest point of the profile at every purlin with extra fixings being used at the ridge and eaves profiles for added strength.
When fixing through the sheet directly into a timber purlin a 32mm timber tek screw is recommended.
Installing the sheets is simple to do using cladco screws for installing box profile 34 1000 the recommended installation is through troughs 1 3 4 and 6.
Primary fixings should be in profile valleys where possible.
